The much hyped state-of-the-art Hummer car finally arrived in Kampala on Wednesday (24.02.2010) afternoon and the singer, who is still on crutches after a shooting incident earlier this month, could not hold back his joy.

Nyota denies dating married man on Valentine's Day

The afro-fusion singer Nyota Ndogo who was in Dar es Salaam until Thursday(18.02.2010) came out fighting to save her image after a Tanzanian tabloid carried a story saying that she had spent her Valentine's Day with somebody's husband.

The tabloid ''Risasi' carried the story as the main headline with photos of a mystery man holding Nyota Ndogo closely. The singer came to DRUM distressed saying the story was not true.

Ugandan pop diva Grace Nakimera's latest release 'Onyambanga Mukama' has sparked speculation on whether she is changing her tune and turning to Gospel music. She released the single last week and has been getting good airplay.

''Onyambanga Mukama'' she says, is a gospel track that looks at evil in society. Grace's lyrics mentions wrong-doing in society including false prophecy and misquotation of the word.
