Most people speculated that his career will stumble after leaving his pioneer recoding label Calif Records and falling out with his one time best friend now rival Jua Cali but Hubert Nakitare, better known by his stage name Nonini has proved all the critics wrong.
This is Nonini’s third album after ‘Hanyaring Game’ and ‘Mwisho wa Mawazo’ and this artiste has proved that sky is the limit for him.

‘Hatimaye’ Swahili for Finally is a blend of Afro-Fusion and Neo Soul by mellow voiced Atemi Oyungu who is one musician who has set the bar so high for other artiste’s in this genre.
Coming from a music family background, Atemi began her music career at the young age of 10; she started as a junior choir to university and performed in an acapella gospel group called Thrown Together by Christ (TTBC) before performing as Eric Wainaina’s back up singer.

The highlights of this soundtrack (and I may be biased because I'm Kenyan) are Ayub Ogada's songs Kothbiro (Track 13) and Dicholo (Track 6). Kothbiro is actually composed by Mbarek Achieng and I must give him credit for such a magical composition but I think it is Ayub Ogada's voice that brings it to life.

Kambua’s pretty face and distinctive voice would allow you to walk past this CD when purchasing CD’s at you stockiest.
Nyumbani is a fifteen track gospel in Swahili that you are most likely to hear being played in church when waiting for your pastor to come and preach.
In this album, Kambua has worked with big names in the gospel scene like Mbuvi and Jonah Uzele giving it such a splendid gospel touch.

One thing that will clutch your attention when listening to this CD is its remarkable instrumentals that really stand out and aren’t common in the local music production.

Zimbabwean musician Oliver 'Tuku' Mtukudzi's tracks are always the kind you can play over and over again. This one is definitely one of them.
Watching the video is an even better experience. It's unpretentious. Clean. And true to Tuku tradition, it's got a powerful message.

In the video, singer Lin gives a refreshing new face to gospel and vernacular music videos. The music, to begin with, is a unique jazzy sound with deep, thoughtful lyrics.
The video's garden setting gives the video the light, happy feel which is important for the gospel music genre.
The clever videography brings out the colours in a very artistic way. It makes it a video that you want to actually watch and not just listen to.
