Pentarmony perform at the Junction Tuesday, 28 October, 2008. The event, which was jointly sponsored by Doorman’s Coffee House and Schweppes, was free and open to the public in what has become a monthly tradition. The group of Kenyan men specialises in instrumental and a capella music and composes all its own songs. It is made up of 25 year-old Philip Tuju who sings and plays both the flute and violin; Benson Mutahi and Seamus Njuguna who plays acoustic guitar and sings the lead vocals. Pentarmony are up for a Kisima Award and their debut album is currently on sale at all NuMetro outlets. After the performance, other groups took to the stage including Elani and Sauti Soul.
